Year 2 - Deer Class
Welcome to Deer Class
Class Teacher: Miss Tombs
Teaching Assistants: Mrs Ninglekhu and Miss Davidson
Welcome back to Term 4
Our Geographical enquiry in Term 4 will be:
' How does the geography of Kampong Ayer compare with where I live?'
Within this enquiry we will be comparing the geographical features of the settlement of Kampong Ayer in Brunei with those of Canterbury in the UK. We will be building on our learning in Year 1 when we learnt about the human and physical features of our local area.
Our PE this term will be on a Thursday afternoons - please ensure your child has a PE kit to change into on this day.
Our Forest School day will be on Wednesdays - 19th March, 26th March and 2nd April. On these days the children should come to school in uniform and bring Forest School kit to change into after lunch. Please ensure your child has a waterproof coat as learning in forest school still takes place in the rain!
Home learning will include reading each day and phonics/reading/spelling games on
Twinkl For Web alongside practise on Numbots and TT Rockstars.
If you have any questions please see me at the beginning or end of the day or message on dojo.
