How to Join Us

Children can join the Pre-School in the term after their 3rd birthday. The school office keep a waiting list for children under the age of 3, and will contact parent/carers just before a child is eligible to start.

If your child is already 3, and you would like them to join the Pre-School Class, or you would like them to be added to the waiting list, please visit the school office or contact them on 01227 760084.

When a child is eligible to start and if a space is available, we will contact you to make an appointment to visit the school and Pre-School where admission paperwork is given to the parent/carer.

Once the relevant paperwork is returned, the Pre-School Teacher will contact parent/carers to arrange an initial visit.

At the end of this first visit, if the pre-school is deemed suitable, we will agree on a settling in program tailored to the individual needs of the child. We will arrange trial sessions and start dates for your child. It is essential that you bring either a birth certificate or passport for your child for this meeting. This will ensure that we can complete funding information prior to your child attending Pre-School for the first time.
